Meet Our Founder, Ryan
PegAssist was founded for patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries by a patient recovering from a traumatic brain injury. Our founder, Ryan, was once an active college wrestler when he was in an accident that changed all of that. He ended up in a coma for three months. When he got out, Ryan had to re-learn how to eat, walk, and talk.
It All Started with an Idea
Ryan invented the PegAssist based on his own experience to help him on his path to recovery. He had such great success with the item that he wanted others to experience the benefits.
The PegAssist helps patients in three key ways:
Holds objects like dishes and playing cards in place
Sharpens cognitive abilities by putting comprehension and direction-following abilities to the test
Improves fine motor skills by allowing patients to move pegs throughout the board
